Jardin des Tuileries The garden occupies an area of 25 hectares, between the Carrousel du Louvre and the place de la Concorde, the rue de Rivoli and the banks of the Seine. It was commissioned by Catherine de Médicis but the present layout of the formal garden (1664) is attributable to Le Nôtre.  Concorde

Park of Buttes Chaumont Situated on an immense steep and chaotic space, the park evokes the magnificent Baroque spirit of the Second Empire. Opened at the time of the 1867 Universal Exhibition, after four years of titanic work, it became a popular park full of attractions, "a magical place and good value which could rival Monceau". Jardin du Luxembourg is the largest park in the city. It's a green oasis spread with statues, fountains and flowers. The garden has many attractions for children (poneys, merry-go-round, puppet shows). It is animated by lovers, students and outdoor chess (our favorite !). Discover the Orangerie and the pond. Père Lachaise Cemetery Of the twenty cemeteries in Paris, Père-Lachaise is reputed to be the world's most-visited cemetery, attracting hundreds of thousands of visitors annually to the graves. Over its 44 hectares and with its 5,300 trees, Père-Lachaise is also the biggest park in Paris. Garden of Plantes The Jardin des Plantes is the main botanical garden in France. Three hectares are devoted to horticultural displays of decorative plants. All along the rue Cuvier, the zoo is home to a good selection of reptiles, birds, insects and also wildcats, bears and monkeys situated in a landscaped garden with an Alpine garden on its borders.
